These treats can be stored in an air tight container at room temperature away from sunlight for up to a week, in the fridge for up to two weeks or frozen in a ziplock bag for up to three months. If you live somewhere that gets hot, refrigerating is best as these are soft and melty if left at room temperature.
Try many variations of the same recipe by swapping the peanut butter filling with any filling of choice.
Consider adding different toppings of choice to create a variety - crushed nuts, salted peanuts, freeze-dried fruits, pomegranate seeds etc will all work and add a different flavour
Do not slit the dates all throughout or you will have two halves left out and no space to fill the dates.
Use natural peanut butter to make it a much healthier treat.
You can consider adding little coconut oil to melted chocolate to make it look glossier.
