Indian Lentil Soup/ Dal Fry
A comfort indian delicacy where the lentils are cooked till mushy and then tempered to bring out all the flavours.

a pinch turmeric powder

coriander leaves to garnish
Instructions
Pressure cook the moong dal with turmeric, salt, ginger, and garlic till it's done.
Heat ghee in a pan. Add the cumin seeds, dry red chilies, and curry leaves. Once they splutter add the onions sauté well.
Then the tomatoes with red chili powder and salt. Let it cook it till it starts leaving oil.
Now add the cooked moong dal and mix well.
Bring it to a boil, check for salt and garnish with lots of coriander leaves.
Serve hot with rice or roti with extra ghee
