Why can't desi recipe be a 'desi recipe only'. Why fusion? Why this imitation ? There so many Desi delicacies that can be enjoyed without chocolate or cheese! Soan papdi should be soan papdi. Please let Diwali be a Desi Diwali🙏

Hi Sarachandrika..
Absolutely, I hear you!Traditional desi sweets are treasures and should always be celebrated. Fusion recipes don’t replace them—they just give us a fun twist. For example, a rasmalai cake or cupcakes: sometimes the cake itself can be a bit dry, but adding rasmalai milk makes it moist and brings its own sweetness and charm, making the cake taste amazing. Fusion recipes are just another way to experiment and have fun in the kitchen, but they don’t replace the classics. Soan papdi will always be soan papdi, and Diwali will always be our beautiful desi celebration. ❤️ Let’s celebrate both the timeless traditions and little creative twists. Fusion has its own place, and desi sweets have theirs—both can be enjoyed! ❤️"
